在北京，外交部發言人耿爽批評，一段時間以來，美國國務卿蓬佩奧無論走到那裡，都必衝著中國發表言論，又指他的言論，充斥謊言，提醒對方，別人對他的說話並不賣帳。<\/p>\n

耿爽說，以蓬佩奧經常掛在嘴邊的中國電訊設備商華為為例子，美方一直說華為存在安全風險，但始終沒有拿出令人信服的證據，美方以「莫須有」罪名，動用國家力量，開動國家機械，打壓華為等中國民營企業，是很不道德和不光彩，有失大國水準。<\/p>\n

耿爽又說，在美方肆意打壓下，中國企業的成績似乎亦不錯，根據華為網頁顯示的數據，截至6月6日，華為已在全球30國，獲得46份5G商用合同，當中包括一些美方苦口婆心勸說的盟友和歐洲國家。<\/p>\n
