users&#8217; focus when video chatting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During a normal video call, your line of sight naturally slumps, since you&#8217;re looking at the other participant (or your own face in the corner), rather than the front-facing camera.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But new &#8220;FaceTime Attention Correction&#8221; appears to use some sort of witchcraft to adjust your view for better (albeit fake) eye contact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/flyosity\/status\/1146136279647772673\"  rel=\"noopener\">Spotted by<\/a> app designer Mike Rundle on Twitter, the upcoming feature was corroborated by Dave Schukin, CEO of AI firm Observant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;It simply uses ARKit to grab a depth map\/position of your face, and adjusts the eyes accordingly,&#8221;
