{"id":149992,"date":"2019-07-17T19:33:05","date_gmt":"2019-07-17T11:33:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/?p=250833"},"modified":"2019-07-17T19:33:05","modified_gmt":"2019-07-17T11:33:05","slug":"telecom-italia-considers-e2b-asset-sale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itteacheritfreelance.hk\/test\/wordpress\/2019\/07\/17\/telecom-italia-considers-e2b-asset-sale\/","title":{"rendered":"Telecom Italia considers \u20ac2B asset sale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        \tTelecom Italia could reportedly sell assets worth approximately \u20ac2 billion, including a stake in tower unit Inwit, its data centre and credit operations.<\/p>\n<p>Italian newspaper La Repubblica reported the operator is considering asset sales, as CEO Luigi Gubitosi looks at ways to revive the group following recent struggles.<\/p>\n<p>A \u20ac2 billion injection could also help with a current debt load which stands at \u20ac25 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Telecom Italia, which owns a 60 per cent stake in Inwit, struck a deal this year with Vodafone Italy to merge tower assets [1], a move which will help to reduce 5G costs for both operators.<\/p>\n<p>However, a stake sale is still very much on the table, the newspaper stated.
