{"id":151006,"date":"2019-07-22T18:30:57","date_gmt":"2019-07-22T10:30:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/?p=251136"},"modified":"2019-07-22T18:30:57","modified_gmt":"2019-07-22T10:30:57","slug":"dt-mulls-legal-action-over-vodafone-liberty-approval","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itteacheritfreelance.hk\/test\/wordpress\/2019\/07\/22\/dt-mulls-legal-action-over-vodafone-liberty-approval\/","title":{"rendered":"DT mulls legal action over Vodafone, Liberty approval"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        \tDeutsche Telekom and German industry groups slated the European Commission&#8217;s approval of Vodafone Group\u2019s \u20ac18.4 billion acquisition of Liberty Global\u2019s cable assets [1] in central and eastern Europe, with the operator considering the case for a judicial review.<\/p>\n<p>Since Vodafone\u2019s proposal was submitted to authorities in 2018, Deutsche Telekom has regularly called on regulators to block it [2] and been extremely critical of its potential impact.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement following the European Commission\u2019s approval, Deutsche Telekom said the deal would have a negative impact on competition and the country&#8217;s fibre broadband rollout.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe&#8217;re used to competition. But we were not alone in our concerns about the merger.
