(Photo Credit: Daniel Ruff \/ Facebook) <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p>An 11-year-old boy is recovering from minor injuries after a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/news\/watch-electrofishing-shocks-hundreds-of-carp-at-kentucky-dam-1798627\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">fishing<\/a> accident temporarily left a hook in his eyelid on Aug. 2.<\/p>\n<p>Manning Ruff was fishing at a lake near his family home in Summerville, South Carolina, when he hooked a tiny bass, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fox35orlando.com\/unusual\/fishing-accident-leaves-11-year-old-with-hook-in-his-eyelid\"  rel=\"noopener\">Fox 35 Orlando News reported<\/a>. While he reeled in his catch, the hook reportedly became loose and got stuck in Manning&#8217;s eye and cheek.
