The Fi Smart Dog Collar consists of a metal, waterpoof tracker to attaches to the collar. You can only use Fi\u2019s own collars but they come in a variety of sizes and colors. You\u2019ll also get a charging block but thanks to the impressive month-long battery life you won\u2019t be relying on it that much.<\/p>\n

After connecting the base station to your home Wi-Fi network, you create a safe zone around your house for your dog to freely roam. The area around your phone also acts as a base station safe zone, so the app knows your dog isn\u2019t lost if it\u2019s with you outside. To be effective though Fi needs to track your dog if it runs away from both you and your home. To do that it uses GPS tracking powered by AT&T. That\u2019s why you need to be in an area with coverage, and that\u2019s also why you need to pay for a subscription.<\/p>\n

Using the mobile app, you can keep all sorts of tabs on your dog. You\u2019ll get alerts in less than five minutes if they leave the safe zone so you can quickly start tracking. You can set up distinct profiles for different pets and different owners. It even counts step, to keep your dog healthy as well as protected.<\/p>\n
