Just a few years ago It would’ve been wild to see Microsoft support one of its biggest rivals so heavily. But as the company shifts its gaming strategy, Switch players reap all the benefits. Not only did Switch gain support for Xbox Live, but several high-profile Xbox games have come to the console/handheld hybrid like Cuphead and New Super Lucky’s Tale.

And at its latest indie game showcase, Nintendo revealed that the acclaimed beautiful platformer Ori and the Blind Forest is coming soon to Nintendo Switch. Take a look!

Don’t let the whimsical music and soft painterly art style fool you. By all accounts Ori is actually a pretty difficult game. But the challenge is rewarding, so it’ll be a great thing to pick up after finally finishing Cuphead. Here’s hoping the upcoming sequel, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, also winds up on Switch. Famously, one of the level designers is the outlaw hero who developed Another Metroid 2 Remake before Nintendo shut it down.

Ori and the Blind Forest comes to Nintendo Switch on September 27. Wouldn’t it be great if that’s also the same day fellow Microsoft characters Banjo and Kazooie make their debut in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

This wasn’t the only exciting indie announcement for Nintendo Switch though. The platform fulfills the dream of the PlayStation Vita more and more each day. Incredible stylish violent action games Superhot and Hotline Miami Collection both launch today. Skater XL finally brings the skateboarding genre to Switch. The Touryst looks like an intriguing island adventure. Torchlight II hopes you’ve still got room for Diablo-type games. And there were easily over two dozen more intriguing titles shown off.

For more on Nintendo Switch here are some cool games to play right now and get ready for Super Nintendo games surely coming soon to the online subscription.

The saga of Xbox on Nintendo Switch continues.
