{"id":157051,"date":"2019-08-20T15:27:38","date_gmt":"2019-08-20T07:27:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/?p=253091"},"modified":"2019-08-20T15:27:38","modified_gmt":"2019-08-20T07:27:38","slug":"indosat-in-talks-with-local-companies-over-tower-assets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itteacheritfreelance.hk\/test\/wordpress\/2019\/08\/20\/indosat-in-talks-with-local-companies-over-tower-assets\/","title":{"rendered":"Indosat in talks with local companies over tower assets"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        \tProfessional Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Protelindo) and state-owned Telkom Indonesia held discussions with Indosat Ooredoo about acquiring its tower assets, Dealstreetasia reported.<\/p>\n<p>Indosat, the third largest operator in Indonesia by subscribers, reportedly received interest from local as well as overseas buyers but hasn\u2019t revealed its shortlist.<\/p>\n<p>Protelindo is the second largest tower company in the country, where it owns and operates more than 8,400 towers.<\/p>\n<p>Local media reported last month the operator plans to raise as much as $300 million [1] to fund a sharp increase in capex by selling 3,000 towers.<\/p>\n<p>The operator significantly increased its capex budget for 2019 to 2021 to IDR30 trillion ($2.2 billion), as it moves to expand 4G coverage and catch-up to rivals after years of under-investment.
