With the power of Wi-Fi even the most straightforward appliance can become a more intelligent and more futuristic version of itself. It\u2019ll fit into any E26 socket so you don\u2019t need to buy some fancy new smart lamp or hub to take advantage of its features. And we suppose you could just use it as a regular lightbulb<\/p>\n<p>But then why buy a smart bulb if you aren\u2019t going to play with it? This bulb can display 16 millions beautiful different colors. After connecting it to your home network you can use a mobile app or digital assistant voice commands to customize those colors. You can also set IFTTT routines to turn the bulb on and off throughout the day or create certain mood lighting for certain rooms at certain times. It won\u2019t interface with every smart home ecosystem out there like Apple HomeKit or other third-integrations. But it\u2019s still plenty versatile.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond creating different color sets and schedules, the bulb will also tell you how much power it consumes.
