There are almost too many examples to list. Think <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/devil-may-cry-5s-kylo-ren-mod-is-angst-overload-1795970\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Kylo Ren<\/a> in <em>Devil May Cry 5<\/em> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/witcher-3-mod-adds-playable-henry-cavill-1800127\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Henry Cavill<\/a> in <em>The Witcher 3<\/em> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/shrek-is-in-sekiro-its-all-ogre-now-1785624\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Shrek<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/sekiro-woody-mod-is-the-goriest-toy-story-movie-1797945\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Woody<\/a> in <em>Sekiro<\/em> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/keanu-reeves-mod-makes-metal-gear-solid-even-more-breathtaking-1795188\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Keanu Reeves<\/a> in <em>Metal Gear Solid 5<\/em>. It\u2019s just too easy to get a laugh with a wacky guest star.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/resident-evil-2-is-the-best-remake-of-all-time-1771919\/\"  rel=\"noopener\"><em>Resident Evil 2<\/em><\/a>, the terrific terrifying remake from early this year, already gave us some of this. By stripping haunting hulking menace Mr. X <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/resident-evil-2-thong-mod-makes-mr-x-a-lover-not-a-fighter-1775539\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">down to his thong<\/a>, suddenly the brutal boss went from a fighter to a lover. However, this latest <em>Resident Evil 2<\/em> mod, despite featuring a clown, only makes the game even more horrifying. Surviving Raccoon City is that much more impossible when you\u2019re being stalked by none other than Pennywise the Dancing Clown.<\/p>\n<div class=\"flex-video widescreen embed\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Xa104QhYagU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Pennywise&#8217;s story may have ended (more comedically than expected) in <em>IT: Chapter 2<\/em> earlier this month, but you can keep the nightmare going with this mod. It was created by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC8fH06FhufHbdtCB6DLeAFQ\"  rel=\"noopener\">Marcos RC<\/a>\u00a0and jc-starstorm and replaces Mr. X with the current incarnation of the killer Stephen King clown. Sorry, Tim Curry. Heck, you can just pretend Mr. X was Pennywise all along, given his shape-shifting abilities.<\/p>\n<p>On Marcos RC\u2019s YouTube page you can find other <em>Resident Evil 2<\/em> character mods featuring Joaquin Phoenix\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/movies\/first-joker-trailer-shows-joaquin-phoenixs-happy-face-1781334\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Joker<\/a> and <em>Mortal Kombat\u2019s<\/em> Sub-Zero.
