Relive the sounds of summer (or last winter, spring, and fall) with Spotify’s new personalized playlists, designed to make you feel nostalgic.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Repeat and Repeat Rewind encourage listeners to “sit back, relax, and fall in love with the songs you’ve played most all over again,” according to a blog announcement<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Repeat<\/span><\/h3>\n

Keep track of what you’ve been playing most over the last 30 days.<\/span><\/p>\n

(For me, that includes Elton John, Neil Diamond, ABBA, Stevie Wonder, Hugh Jackman, Emeli Sand\u00e9, and The Beach Boys. I’m a normal 30-something, I swear.)<\/span><\/p>\n

The playlist auto-updates to present the most up-to-date account of your current favorite tunes\u2014you know, the ones you’ve been playing on repeat and are unlikely to forget.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It’s a great combination of all the music you love, no matter what artist or genre, so each time you tap play, it will sound a little different,” the streaming service said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Repeat Rewind<\/span><\/h3>\n

Sick of hearing the same Shawn Mendes-and-Camila Cabello collab for the seven-millionth time? Rediscover songs you once loved with Repeat Rewind, which includes tracks you played more than a month ago.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Whether you’re constantly discovering something new or a purveyor of the class<\/a>ics, sometimes it feels good to just kick back with the familiar,” Spotify wrote in its blog.<\/span><\/p>\n

(Ahh, a friendly reminder of that <\/span>Hercules<\/span><\/i> soundtrack phase I recently went through\u2026)<\/span><\/p>\n

Updated every five days, the song selection may span artists, moods, and genres.<\/span><\/p>\n

Don’t worry about music overload, though: Spotify promised that tracks will never appear on both playlists at the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Available globally for free and premium users, the new features can be found in the Made For You Hub, as well as the “Uniquely Yours” shelf on the home screen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Spotify for Artists also got an update<\/a>, boasting a refreshed design, new “home” tab with access to resources and updates about milestones, and expanded real-time stats for new releases.<\/span><\/p>\n

Verified users can download the iOS or Android app now.<\/span><\/p>\n
