McDonald’s is testing a new plant-based burger in Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n

Starting Monday, the P.L.T. (plant, lettuce, and tomato) will be available<\/a> at 28 restaurants in Southwestern Ontario for 12 weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n

The sandwich, made with a Beyond Meat plant-based patty, is the Golden Arches’ first foray into meatless meals.<\/span><\/p>\n

The P.L.T.<\/a> is the same class<\/a>ic Mickey D’s burger you know and hate to love\u2014just without any animal products.<\/span><\/p>\n
