{"id":166721,"date":"2019-10-08T20:13:51","date_gmt":"2019-10-08T12:13:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/?p=257600"},"modified":"2019-10-08T20:13:51","modified_gmt":"2019-10-08T12:13:51","slug":"mts-chief-endorses-vertical-path-ahead-of-5g","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itteacheritfreelance.hk\/test\/wordpress\/2019\/10\/08\/mts-chief-endorses-vertical-path-ahead-of-5g\/","title":{"rendered":"MTS chief endorses vertical path ahead of 5G"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        \tLIVE FROM MOBILE 360 EURASIA, MOSCOW: Operators were urged to identify new sectors to design services for by MTS president and CEO Alexey Kornya (pictured), who stated they could no longer afford to be just data pipes.<\/p>\n<p>In a keynote, Kornya said new devices powered by 5G opened fresh opportunities and challenges for the industry, describing the vast options for business growth in the sector.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe telecoms industry is going through a major transformation moment right now,\u201d he said, adding operators were on the cusp of being able to develop solutions for a whole range of industries.<\/p>\n<p>In terms of MTS\u2019 progress, Kornya said it was \u201con the way\u201d to 5G, with tests of the technology and supported applications already underway.
