(Photo Credit: @minalopezavina \/ Twitter)<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p><em>Joker<\/em> recently had a strong opening weekend, and one fan pointed out a strange and hilarious connection between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/movies\/how-joker-shows-that-comic-book-movies-dont-have-to-have-heroes-1806179\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">chilling film<\/a> and 2007&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Superbad<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter user\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/minalopezavina\/status\/1181472809622466560\"  rel=\"noopener\">@minalopezavina<\/a> noticed that one of Arthur Fleck&#8217;s outfits is almost the same as McLovin&#8217;s and the resemblance is a bit weird.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Ok but why is it the same outfit? <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/JokerMovie?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#JokerMovie<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/7Gg5nOZVNR\">pic.twitter.com\/7Gg5nOZVNR<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 ?? ???? \/ ????? ???? ???? ?? (@getFANDOM) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/getFANDOM\/status\/1179104834210807808?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 1, 2019<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Phillips&#8217; recent comments on comedy have also resulted in some criticism: The director explained how &#8220;woke culture&#8221; could be challenging for funny movies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGo try to be funny nowadays with this woke culture,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/hollywood\/2019\/10\/joaquin-phoenix-cover-story\"  rel=\"noopener\">Phillips told <em>Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a>. \u201cThere were articles written about why comedies don\u2019t work anymore \u2014 I\u2019ll tell you why, because all the f&#8212;ing funny guys are like, \u2018F&#8212; this s&#8212;, because I don\u2019t want to offend you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Industry members, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/movies\/joaquin-phoenix-addresses-concerns-over-joker-violence-1805880\/\"  rel=\"noopener\"><em>Joker<\/em><\/a> actor Marc Maron, have slammed Phillips for his insensitive statements, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbr.com\/joker-marc-maron-slams-todd-phillips-for-woke-culture-comments\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">CBR noted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are still lines to be rode. If you like to ride a line, you can still ride a line.
