It uses every tool at its disposal, from clockwork stealth systems to dynamic piano music to wobbly waddle controls, to deliver on the instantly understandable and appealing fantasy of being a horrible goose. Honking at those poor townsfolk makes you feel like a monster in the best possible way.<\/p>\n<p>But what if <em>you<\/em> were the one on the receiving end of the goose\u2019s wrath? And folks have been having a field day modding the monster in the PC version of the game, swapping his trademark trenchcoat with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/resident-evil-2-thong-mod-makes-mr-x-a-lover-not-a-fighter-1775539\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">thong<\/a>\u00a0or putting thicc clown <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/pennywise-mod-makes-resident-evil-2-more-terrifying-1804749\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Pennywise<\/a>\u00a0up in there instead.<\/p>\n<p>And now the untitled goose itself hunts, haunts, and honks at Leon and Claire in the zombie-filled remains of Racoon City. Created by modder <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/xZombieAlix\"  rel=\"noopener\">Alister<\/a>, this giant belligerent bird even maintains Mr. X\u2019s fedora hat. The goose is truly loose.<\/p>\n<p>Adding a goose to <em>Resident Evil 2<\/em> may be the best character mod we\u2019ve seen so far but it\u2019s far from the only one.
