There is no length Disney won’t go to promote <\/span>Star Wars<\/span><\/i>, including making Mark Hamill<\/a> watch his own cringe-inducing audition tape.<\/span><\/p>\n

As part of a fundraising campaign<\/a>, the actor enjoyed a personal viewing of the 40-something-year-old video.<\/span><\/p>\n

“It wasn’t easy for me to watch this,” he tweeted on Tuesday. “But I suffered through it just for you.”<\/span><\/p>\n

And for the USC McMorrow Neighborhood Academic Initiative (NAI)\u2014an organization designed to help prepare underprivileged students for admission to college.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fans can enter online for the chance to score two tickets to <\/span>Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker<\/span><\/i> premiere in Los Angeles and dinner with Luke Skywalker<\/a> himself.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The best part of all is that every donation benefits NAI,” Hamill said in the video. “So hurry up, go to omaze.com\/mark, donate, and may the force be with you.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Hamill earned his big break in George Lucas’s <\/span>Star Wars<\/span><\/i> franchise, for which he has reprised his Jedi role five times (including <\/span>The Rise of Skywalker<\/span><\/i>).<\/span><\/p>\n
