Following the departure of chairman Shawn Layden<\/a>, Sony has named Hermen Hulst, Guerrilla Games’ director and co-founder, as the new head of Worldwide Studios and will be tasked to oversee software development across Sony’s 14 internal game studios. Guerrilla\u00a0promoted three people as co-studio directors: Michiel van der Leeuw<\/a>, who was the technical director, Angie Smets<\/a>, executive producer, and Jan-Bart van Beek<\/a>, studio art director.<\/p>\n

Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida<\/a>, who has long been an influential voice for Sony on social media, is leaving the position to shepherd smaller independent studios.<\/p>\n
