(Photo Credit: Google)<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Google Maps has replaced more than just road maps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The navigation app <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/tech\/google-maps-highlights-restaurants-most-popular-dishes-1789652\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">suggests meals<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/tech\/google-maps-can-predict-how-crowded-your-train-bus-is-1793782\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">predicts public transit crowds<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/tech\/google-maps-audibly-translates-place-names-so-you-dont-have-to-1810496\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">translates foreign place names<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It can even help plan your next adventure, thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.google.com\/localguides\"  rel=\"noopener\">Local Guides<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program enables users to contribute to Google Maps\u2014add reviews and photos, upload videos, correct information\u2014in exchange for perks and benefits.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Visiting Bangalore? Melvin John&#8217;s reviews will guide you through the city&#8217;s microbrewery scene. New to Tokyo?
