{"id":183226,"date":"2019-12-10T18:52:18","date_gmt":"2019-12-10T10:52:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/?p=264148"},"modified":"2019-12-10T18:52:18","modified_gmt":"2019-12-10T10:52:18","slug":"nokia-postpones-daimler-court-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itteacheritfreelance.hk\/test\/wordpress\/2019\/12\/10\/nokia-postpones-daimler-court-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Nokia postpones Daimler court case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        \tNokia paused legal action against German auto company Daimler as it looks to resolve an ongoing row over patent licensing fees through mediation, Reuters reported.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking to the news agency, Nokia representative Mark Durrant said it had chosen to suspend a court hearing due to be held today (10 December) in Germany, as it hopes constructive negotiation would be the best way to resolve the matter [1].<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe trust that Daimler and its tier-one suppliers will now engage in these meaningful efforts to reach settlement. There is more to gain for all if we work together,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The decision to halt legal proceedings was somewhat expected after Nokia said last week [2] it was working to end disputes with several companies in the automotive industry, in a bid to stave off a European Commission (EC) investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Along with Daimler, Nokia is seeking patent fees from automotive components suppliers Bury Technologies, [3] Valeo, Continental and software company Gemalto.
