Everyone and their grandma loves it. Literally. One of the most wholesome YouTubers for the fantasy RPG epic is 83-year-old \u201cSkyrim Grandma\u201d Shirley Curry from Ohio. For years she\u2019s streamed herself adventuring across Tamriel, talking to dragons as well as her grandkids. Bethesda already announced that it planned to celebrate Curry\u2019s fandom by making her an NPC in the upcoming <em>Elder Scrolls 6<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>However, considering the pace that Bethesda makes these massive games (they haven\u2019t even shown anything real from <em>Starfield<\/em> let alone a next-gen <em>Elder Scrolls<\/em>) fans rightly realized that this old woman needed to get in the game sooner rather than later. So check out this trailer for an upcoming Shirley Curry <em>Skyrim<\/em> fan mod.<\/p>\n<div class=\"flex-video widescreen embed\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/phRnvAZEhGQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Detailed on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/skyrim\/comments\/ehedfl\/shirley_a_skyrim_follower_mod_teaser_trailer\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Reddit<\/a>, and reported by <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/skyrim-grandma-shirley-companion-mod\/?utm_medium=Social-Distribution&amp;utm_source=GR-FB-P&amp;utm_campaign=GR-FB-P\"  rel=\"noopener\">GameRant<\/a>, this <em>Skyrim<\/em> fan mod turns Curry into a barbarian for players to recruit. As your follower she\u2019ll shoot arrows and use two-handed weapons, just like the real Shirley, and spout her catchphrase \u201cgood morning, grandkid.\u201d The mod has been in the works since November 2018 following a Change.org petition and is slated for release early this year. The trailer was uploaded by Daniel Kemp while the Reddit answers came from user &#8220;phantom-scribbler&#8221; who worked on the mod in some capacity.<\/p>\n<p>We doubt Bethesda will get too upset about this fan mod beating their own plans for a Shirley tribute to the punch. Mods are a huge part of the <em>Skyrim<\/em> community, and Bethesda is one of the more accepting publishers when it comes to that stuff.
