Tech bros can make all the Soylent slop they want to replace food, but it’ll still need to leave their bodies eventually. Folks loved how The Mandalorian made the Star Wars universe even more relatable by unveiling space toilets at last. And if you’re looking for some cold hard numbers, Charmin estimates people spend an average of 156 hours of each year on the toilet.

Speaking of Charmin, the toilet paper tycoon knows that even if toilet are forever, the experience can still be enhanced with technology (and not ruined by capitalism). And at CES 2020, they’re showing off a slate of toilet tech concepts called Charmin GoLab.

Charmin GoLab is a suite of “futuristic bathroom innovations” designed to execute “Charmin’s vision of a better bathroom experience.” And like a lot of CES concepts that are in no way consumer products yet, they straddle the line between reality and elaborate April Fool’s Day prank. The three devices on display at Vegas approach the idea of “bathroom innovation” from some pretty unique angles.

Charmin’s commercials already feature a family of bears who cannot shut up about going to the bathroom.
