New Year&#8217;s Day (of 2020) set a new single-day record, with people spending $386 million.\u00a0In total, the App Store has earned more than $155 billion since its launch in 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Games account for no small part of the App Store&#8217;s\u00a0success. While the company&#8217;s announcement doesn&#8217;t offer much\u00a0quantitative\u00a0info regarding the relatively new Apple Arcade service,\u00a0\u00a0Apple has revealed 2019&#8217;s\u00a0top App Store games\u00a0in both the free and paid categories.
