First The Pope got a copy of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/holy-moly-the-pope-has-a-copy-of-undertale-1660613\/\"  rel=\"noopener\"><em>Undertale<\/em><\/a>. Then someone developed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/tech\/vatican-unveils-click-to-pray-wearable-rosary-device-1807536\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">digital rosaries<\/a>. A tech journalist-turned priest spun up a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/build-with-the-pope-in-the-vaticans-minecraft-server-1812373\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Vatican <em>Minecraft<\/em> server<\/a>. And we\u2019re still waiting with baited breath for this upcoming game where you literally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geek.com\/games\/i-am-jesus-christ-is-the-ultimate-god-game-1813144\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">play as Jesus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And now you can play as The Pope in <em>Star Wars: Battlefront II<\/em>. What a world!<\/p>\n<div class=\"flex-video widescreen embed\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hp0uDtn4mEQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Considering how skilled he is at smacking away his followers, you\u2019d think the playable Pope here would be the current leader Pope Francis. But this PC mod actually adds the late Pope John John Paul II to the beleaguered 2017 multiplayer Star Wars game. Our conspiracy theory is that he was the easiest Pope character model to derive from official playable character Emperor Sheev Palpatine. But actually this is just one of several mods from creator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nexusmods.com\/starwarsbattlefront22017\/mods\/2188\"  rel=\"noopener\">xD0IT<\/a> that add famous Polish historical figures into the game.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of covering up abuse, this Pope gets right into the action with his Kylo Ren-esque cross-guard lightsaber. But its yellow color makes it look like a glowing heavenly cross.
