For most of the Star Wars sequel trilogy\u2019s runtime, Adam Driver\u2019s Ben Solo is a dour, moody villain, swinging drastically between cool rage and hotheaded tantrums. It\u2019s a convincing performance, though its over-the-top nature seems to dare the audience to laugh at Ben and his immaturity rather than with him. However, for the last 10 to 15 minutes of The Rise of Skywalker\u2019s<\/em> runtime, Ben has a change of heart, and here the audience gets to see Adam Driver\u2019s range as he impressively morphs Ben\u2019s character into a compelling hero. The comedic relief is still there- \u201cow!\u201d- but so is a real sense of heart and charm, with Driver even taking one key moment to play homage to his character\u2019s father, Han Solo.<\/p>\n
