{"id":209836,"date":"2020-01-16T22:41:35","date_gmt":"2020-01-16T14:41:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/?p=266714"},"modified":"2020-01-16T22:41:35","modified_gmt":"2020-01-16T14:41:35","slug":"orange-expands-money-service-into-jordan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itteacheritfreelance.hk\/test\/wordpress\/2020\/01\/16\/orange-expands-money-service-into-jordan\/","title":{"rendered":"Orange expands money service into Jordan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        \tOrange launched its mobile money service in Jordan, as it continues to progress a group-wide plan to increase the scope and scale of its financial services play.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the company confirmed it received a licence from the country\u2019s central bank late in 2019 and would operate the product through Petra Mobile Payment Services Company.<\/p>\n<p>Continuing to grow its financial services footprint in the MEA region is one of the key initiatives set out by Orange CEO Stephane Richard [1] as part of its Engage2025 strategy, alongside expanding Orange Bank in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Jordan is the operator&#8217;s 18th mobile money launch in MEA, with all but one using its core brand.
