{"id":211797,"date":"2020-01-22T20:24:51","date_gmt":"2020-01-22T12:24:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/?p=267248"},"modified":"2020-01-22T20:24:51","modified_gmt":"2020-01-22T12:24:51","slug":"vodafone-pulls-out-of-facebook-currency-play","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itteacheritfreelance.hk\/test\/wordpress\/2020\/01\/22\/vodafone-pulls-out-of-facebook-currency-play\/","title":{"rendered":"Vodafone pulls out of Facebook currency play"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        \tVodafone Group became the latest high-profile backer to withdraw from Facebook\u2019s Libra Association, dealing another blow to the struggling cryptocurrency project.<\/p>\n<p>The operator followed Visa, Mastercard, [1] PayPal, Stripe and eBay in pulling out of the Association, which will manage and promote Facebook\u2019s Libra cryptocurrency and mobile wallet Calibra.<\/p>\n<p>Vodafone and Iliad were the only two operator groups to back the association, which was unveiled in June 2019 [2].
