{"id":40234,"date":"2018-12-11T23:20:10","date_gmt":"2018-12-11T15:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mobileworldlive.com\/?p=229826"},"modified":"2018-12-11T23:20:10","modified_gmt":"2018-12-11T15:20:10","slug":"samsung-touts-in-display-camera-for-galaxy-a8s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/itteacheritfreelance.hk\/test\/wordpress\/2018\/12\/11\/samsung-touts-in-display-camera-for-galaxy-a8s\/","title":{"rendered":"Samsung touts in-display camera for Galaxy A8s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>        \tSamsung showcased an updated version of its Galaxy A8 smartphone in China, which does away with the front notch in favour of a small lens present in the top left corner of the screen.<\/p>\n<p>The vendor described the lens as \u201cin-screen aperture technology\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>With Honor also talking about integrating the front camera into the display in its anticipated View20 smartphone [1], this seems to be the next stage for vendors looking to eliminate the notch, which itself was the result of a technical challenge as smartphone bezels got ever smaller.<\/p>\n<p>And, unsurprisingly, Samsung\u2019s new \u201cInfinity-o\u201d display has been seen as a hint of what will come with its next flagship, Galaxy S10.<\/p>\n<p>Called A8s, the 6.4-inch screen device also has a rear-mounted triple camera set-up, with 24MP main camera alongside 10MP telephoto and 5MP \u201cblurring\u201d camera, to offer range of imaging options.<\/p>\n<p>Powered by an octacore Snapdragon 710 processor, which sits between Qualcomm\u2019s mid-tier chips and fully-fledged flagship silicon [2], it has 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. A version with 8GB of RAM will also be available.<\/p>\n<p>While the device has so far only been revealed for China, Samsung\u2019s A8 line does traditionally see wider availability.
