Will help weapons be on the same playing field as Modern Warfare arms.
Some of the changes made to Black Ops Cold War suppressors in Call of Duty: Warzone are being undone.
In a post on Twitter, developer Raven Software said that it would be “returning” the Agency, GRU and Wrapped suppressors to “their former glory” following some changes it made to Warzone as part of the battle royale title’s second season.
When Season One of Black Ops Cold War’s Warzone mode was rolled out, it was difficult to figure out what weapon attachments did, as descriptions were misleading and the stats provided didn’t match what they actually did.
With Season Two, Raven fixed this, but has also made changes to the bullet velocity of Cold War Suppressors. The Agency Suppressor, for example, would boost bullet velocity during Season One, but this has been changed in Season Two, significantly reducing bullet velocity.
This meant that Cold War guns weren’t on a level playing field with the Modern Warfare weaponry that was introduced when Warzone first came out.
Season Two of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone began on February 25. This also introduced the new Zombies-focused Outbreak mode.
Developer Treyarch has also issued a patch to help solve the poor performance that some players have witnessed since updating their game.
