Dirt 5 Trophies Revealed | Game Rant

Dirt 5 is a major racing game releasing to cap off the current console generation and start a brand new one. Dirt 5 was recently delayed to November so that different versions of the game for Microsoft and Sony’s consoles could release within a shorter timeframe.

Seeing as the release date for Dirt 5 is fast approaching, more details about the game are coming to light. Now, the full trophy list for the PlayStation versions of Dirt 5 has been released, and it seems it won’t be too incredibly difficult for players to grab the game’s platinum trophy.

Dirt 5 is an Xbox Series X launch title, so it makes sense that developer Codemasters would want the game’s different versions to release around the same time. The current generation versions of Dirt 5 will launch on November 6, while the Xbox Series X and S version will release November 10. Though the PlayStation 5 version of Dirt 5 has yet to be given an official release date, the full PlayStation Network trophy list for the Dirt 5 is available now on PSNProfiles.com.

The list has 21 trophies in total, including the platinum trophy. They seem fairly standard, with some trophies unlocking for customizing the player card or livery for a vehicle. Other trophies involve completing chapters in Dirt 5’s story campaign, but some seem like they may take a bit longer to unlock, such as reaching level 50 or jumping 50 meters in a single jump. Though the trophy list will most likely be identical between PS4 and PS5 versions, Dirt 5 saves won’t transfer between Sony’s consoles.

This means that players who quickly unlock the platinum trophy on the PS4 version of Dirt 5 will have to start again from the ground up if they decide to upgrade to the PS5 version. While players on PS4 can upgrade Dirt 5 for free on PS5, that save data from the PS4 will not carry over to the upgraded version on PS5. It’s an interesting caveat for PlayStation owners to be sure, as the Xbox family of consoles will not have the same restriction.

The Xbox Series X version of Dirt 5 will have fully transferable saves from the Xbox One. The achievement list for Dirt 5 on Xbox One has not come to light just yet, but it shouldn’t be long before it does. Until then, players can get a rough idea of the Xbox achievement list through the PS4 trophies, and it won’t be long until players are able to race through all that Dirt 5 has to offer.

Dirt 5 will be released November 6 for PS4 and Xbox One, as well as November 10 for Xbox Series X/S. Dedicated PS5 and Stadia versions are in development.
