It has been nearly three months ever since Creative Assembly released Total War Saga: Troy, which is the second installment in the Total War Saga subseries succeeding Thrones of Britannia. This week, Creative Assembly just announced that the popular PC game is receiving a new add-on DLC on October 29th that will make the experience of players bloodier.
The Blood & Glory DLC pack is something that veteran players of the Total War series should be familiar by now, especially since Creative Assembly has released a blood pack DLC for almost every Total War game. As the name clearly implies, the upcoming Blood Pack DLC in Total War Saga: Troy will heighten the level of gore depicted in the game by adding a range of effects as to how blood is spilled in the game.
With the DLC installed, players can also customize bloodshed in battle depending on how gory they want the battlefield to be. Moreover, if a battle is taking place near a river, that river will temporarily turn red as seen in the accompanying trailer.
It is worth noting that this is not the first DLC for Total War Saga: Troy, which currently has 7.5 million users. Last month, Creative Assembly released the Amazons DLC, which adds an all female team called the Amazon faction to the game. For the most part, the Amazon faction is similar to other factions in Total War except for some unique units and buildings. However, one important thing that players should remember is that the Amazon units tend to focus more on ranged combat, but cavalry and melee units are also available.
Total War Saga: Troy is available now for PC.
