According to dozens of online reports, Ubisoft Montreal is currently experiencing a hostage situation. Reports indicate that some Ubisoft employees have been able to exit the building, but others are still inside. A tweet by Yara El Soueidi, a writer who works for Cult MTL, says her boss’s friend works at Ubisoft. Luckily, her boss’s friend is apparently working from home, and was able to avoid being caught up in the situation. However, she has reportedly spoken to Ubisoft Montreal employees still at the building, who are “hiding under their desks.”
