While most of Fortnite‘s Season 5 Week 9 challenges are quite simple to complete, there is a task that may give players some trouble. Specifically, that task is the one that centers around finding a Hidden Bunker, and indeed some fans may be unclear on where they should look for these structures. It is for precisely those fans that this guide is being written, and it should clarify exactly where to find the Hidden Bunkers in Fortnite.
To note, there are a number of Hidden Bunkers scattered across Fortnite‘s map, but players only need to visit one of them in order to complete this challenge. That means that fans can be a bit flexible when they are tackling this task, and they are free to target the bunker that has the most-convenient location. The map and descriptions that are found below should help players with that targeting, as the position of three different Hidden Bunkers are fully detailed.
1: The first Hidden Bunker can be found near the coast to the southeast of Retail Row. To uncover it, players simply need to use their Harvesting Tools in Fortnite to remove the bushes that are present at that location
2: There is a small island situated between Stealthy Stronghold and Craggy Cliffs at the north end of the map. There is a small raised house at the southeast corner of this island, and the second Hidden Bunker is concealed beneath it. Players can access this space from the building’s exterior by breaking through the wooden slats that are below it.
3: This is perhaps the most difficult Hidden Bunker to find, and it is in the ocean to the southwest of Holly Hedges. While nothing needs to be broken in order to reveal this bunker, as it can be seen just below the water’s surface, Fortnite players may need to wander around a bit before they ultimately discover it.
Upon arrival at one of these locations, players should receive immediate indication that they have completed the find a Hidden Bunker challenge and received their reward. That reward is 20,000 XP, and it is sure to be appreciated by those fans that are looking to reach the top tiers of Fortnite‘s Season 5 Battle Pass. This is certainly not all of the XP up for grabs this week, though, and players should make sure to carve out some time for completing the other new challenges and collecting XP Coins.
Fortnite is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
