Amnesia: Rebirth\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is the third installment in the\u00a0Amnesia\u00a0<\/em>series. Just like the first game that came before it, Rebirth<\/em> features about ten hours<\/a> of terrifying choices that can lead to several different endings.<\/p>\n

In the first\u00a0Amnesia\u00a0<\/em>title, Amnesia: The Dark Descent\u00a0<\/em>had three endings, all depending on the choices that the main character makes in the final room. For the second game,\u00a0Amnesia: Machine for Pigs<\/em> which is free on the Epic Games Store<\/a>\u00a0until the end of today,\u00a0the multiple possible endings were discarded for the horrifying single ending. Thankfully, the third installment has gone back to the original multiple endings, and each one is worth a watch. Each ending is triggered by the choices that Tasi makes in the final encounter.<\/p>\n

Here are the ways to unlock each ending. Keep in mind that there are major spoilers ahead for\u00a0Amnesia: Rebirth<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n

There are two main ways to unlock the bad ending for the spooky horror game Amnesia: Rebirth<\/em><\/a>. The first is the easiest way to end the game; all players have to do is not escape the Empress in the final encounter, after picking up the baby and leaving the nursery. This ending can also be achieved by putting the baby Amari back in the crib, giving her over willingly to the Empress.<\/p>\n

The good ending is a little more difficult, and is also the terrifying, harrowing, psychological-thriller ending that the Amnesia<\/a> series is so good at. As many fans may have expected, players are going to have to escape with baby Amari in order to get the good ending. After nursing the baby, pick up the vitae powering the doorway, then leave the nursery.<\/p>\n

Players will then have to escape the Empress, who is determined to kill Tasi and keep Amari for herself. Players will have to soothe the baby to keep her\u00a0quiet while sneaking out of the Empress’ sights. Use the vitae to power the teleporter.<\/p>\n

Tasi can also choose to take down the Empress and her experiments. In order to get this ending, players will have to flex their Amnesia<\/em> puzzle-solving<\/a>\u00a0and figure out how to destroy that other dimension. First, grab the vitae and the baby and run away from the Empress like before in the good ending. Use the vitae to unlock the doors to the tunnels to the south, east, and west of the Empress. Using the red flesh liquid in Tasi’s injector, inject all three control panels. Then watch the horrifying ending cut scene unfold.<\/p>\n
