Ahead of its release, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/08\/16\/xcloud-xbox-game-pass-next-generation-experience\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">we described it as &ldquo;a next-generation experience&rdquo; in our review<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2019\/06\/13\/phil-spencer-interview-on-project-xcloud\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">Spencer has said in the past that xCloud isn&rsquo;t designed to replace traditional consoles<\/a>, but rather was meant to complement this hardware. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vg247.com\/2020\/07\/16\/project-xcloud-included-xbox-game-pass-september\/\"  rel=\"noopener\">The service is included in its Xbox Game Pass Ultimate tier as of September of this year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Xbox cloud gaming is just one of many games streaming services to hit the market in the last year.
