The Elder Scrolls Online<\/em> has been going strong since its release in 2014 and has remained one of the most popular MMORPGs<\/a>. This year, Zenimax Online Studios took veteran Elder Scrolls<\/em> fans back to Skyrim with the Greymoor<\/em> chapter and the Harrowstorm<\/em> and Stonethorn<\/em> DLCs this year that brought some nostalgia vibes.<\/p>\n

With the\u00a0Markarth <\/em>DLC coming out to finish off the year strong for\u00a0The Elder Scrolls Online,\u00a0<\/em>there are still plenty of things to be done and areas in Tamriel and beyond that need exploring. Despite all the great things about the game, there are still some additions fans would love to see and experience.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>Transmute Crystal Storage Doesn’t Need A Cap<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

When the Transmutation Station came out with the Clockwork City<\/em> DLC, players were excited to be able to change the traits of armor and weapons and were more excited when more traits came out for jewelry with the Summerset<\/em> DLC. Since it came out, players have been limited to 200 spaces (100 for non-ESO Plus<\/em> members) in the currency tab for their Transmute Crystals. While it costs 50 crystals to transmute an item, there are times when players don’t need to transmute anything. They end up hoarding Transmute Geodes, which can hold between 1-20 crystals each, and that takes up storage space since it can’t be stored in a player’s bank. Zenimax did announce that they will be increasing the cap to 1000 spaces (500 for non-ESO Plus<\/em>\u00a0members) during the Twitch live preview of the Markarth<\/em> DLC, which\u00a0will help players out a lot. However, if Zenimax got rid of the cap, players would be able to store Transmute Crystals and not have to worry about limited storage for them.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>More Housing Space<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The Stonethorn<\/em> DLC is out, and new features for housing came out along with it. Non-combat pets, mounts, and NPCs like bankers and merchants are now able to walk around the house, seeming more alive\u00a0than when they just stood in one place.\u00a0There are going to be more NPCs available for purchase later in the Crown Store. However, they take up furniture slots in the home and can cause problems for players who love decorating their homes and perfecting their looks. It would be nice to be able to purchase more space for houses so players won’t have to worry about altering their homes. Having the NPCs be in a different furnishing category would also work.<\/p>\n

8 <\/span>Event Tickets Don’t Need A Storage Cap Either<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Much like Transmute Crystals, there is a cap on Event Tickets in the game as well (12).<\/span> Players are able to spend tickets during events on Indrik mounts, style pages, and furniture blueprints. Not all players spend their tickets or end up spending them on items they might not want since they don’t want their tickets to go waste. If Zenimax removes the cap, players will be able to save up their tickets\u00a0to buy\u00a0items later on during other events in The Elder Scrolls Online<\/em>.<\/p>\n

7 <\/span>More Bank Space And\/Or Storage Coffers<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

With new armor sets coming out with each new DLC, most Elder Scrolls Online<\/em> players would like more bank space, and\/or more storage coffers, which can hold up to 20 or 30 items and can be placed in a player’s in-game home.<\/p>\n

Armor sets are changing with chapter and some players keep old armor sets just in case they might need them later.\u00a0Players would like the option to purchase more bank space and\/or coffers to keep some of their armor sets stored.<\/p>\n

6 <\/span>A New Playable Race: The Maormer<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The world of Elder Scrolls<\/em> has plenty of races that fans have wanted to play as and learn more about. The Maormer, AKA the Sea Elves, is one of those races. Fans know about their existence, but very little is known is about them. While they haven’t appeared in any of the other\u00a0Elder Scrolls<\/em> games, they\u00a0are in The Elder Scrolls Online<\/em> and a part\u00a0of a few quests in the game. The\u00a0Maormer are just as, if not more, ruthless than their other Mer brethren.<\/p>\n

5 <\/span>Open Pyandonea On The Map<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The island of Pyandonea, the home of the Maormer, is shrouded in mystery. If the Maormer became a playable race in The Elder Scrolls Online<\/em>, that could be an opportunity to open a new area<\/a> that Elder Scrolls<\/em> fans have never explored.<\/p>\n

It would be interesting to see the home of the Maormer and learn more about their culture, as well as see how their lands compare to the lands of their other Mer and Elven brethren<\/a>. Plus, see how they interact with and handle the other Tamrielic races visiting their territory.<\/p>\n

4 <\/span>Add Two New Weapons: The Spear And Halberd<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind<\/em>\u00a0is considered one of the best Elder Scrolls<\/em> games<\/a>, and\u00a0some fans would love to see a remake, and for good reason. It introduced spears and halberds as weapons that some Elder Scrolls<\/em> fans are dying to see make a comeback. In the Morrowind<\/em> game, the weapons are longer and lighter than most of the other two-handed weapons which could make for a new melee playstyle.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>Make Throwing Weapons A Thing Again<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Similar to the spear and halberd, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind<\/em> made throwing stars, throwing knives, and darts a skill in the Marksmen line. The bow has been the only long-range weapon that stamina damage dealers can use since The<\/em>\u00a0Elder Scrolls Online<\/em>‘s release. Adding in throwing weapons would be a nice way to make stealth\u00a0builds more aesthetically pleasing<\/a> and add in some variety as well. And since we’ve seen the Breton Hero in\u00a0The Elder Scrolls Online<\/em> trailers use throwing weapons before, they’re lore-friendly too.<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>An Unarmed Combat Class<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Unarmed combat has usually been a way to fight, but not really efficient or useful in the Elder Scrolls<\/em> series. In The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim<\/em>, Bethesda did add a small perk in the Heavy Armor skill line<\/a> to boost the power of unarmed attacks in the game, but it still wasn’t used unless players added mods to make it better.<\/p>\n

In the Elsweyr<\/em> chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online<\/em>, players got to learn a little bit about the art of the Claws-Dance, or Rain-of-Sand, which is a Khajiit-style of martial arts<\/a>. Like the spear and throwing weapons,\u00a0this could be a weapon-style or class for combat that would give players more melee options to choose from and add more combat versatility.<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>Tournaments In Hammerdeath Arena<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

Hammerdeath Arena in Stormhaven\u00a0is well\u00a0known by players, but it’s a neglected dueling spot. None of the NPCs in it can be interacted with and there are no quests available in the area so most players ignore it. What can this arena be used for, then? Tournaments. Guild vs. Guild. 1v1. 2v2. 3v3. A tournament hosted by Zenimax that players can sign-up for could spice up PvP life in The Elder Scrolls Online.<\/em>\u00a0They could also offer new achievements and titles for PvP players.<\/p>\n

PvP life in The Elder Scrolls Online<\/em> has been limited to Battlegrounds and Cyrodiil. While Battlegrounds and Cyrodiil each have a ranking system, a player can easily earn points by taking keeps\u00a0and resources in Cyrodiil, or participating in Battlegrounds non-stop. A tournament where a player or players have to fight their way through a bracket of other players could be a new style of PvP, and Hammerdeath Arena can be the place to host it.<\/p>\n
