It has been six years since the first Five Nights at Freddy’s<\/strong><\/em> game was released\u00a0on PC and mobile devices. Since then, Five Nights at Freddy’s<\/em>\u00a0has become a household name in the survival-horror genre, spawning a whole franchise that includes numerous games, spin-offs, novels, and even a FNaF\u00a0<\/em>movie adaptation that is currently in production.<\/a><\/p>\n

It appears that players on the Nintendo Switch will\u00a0be able to play several games from the Five Nights at Freddy’s<\/em><\/a> franchise soon now that a listing has appeared\u00a0for a collection of games in the series. According to the listing posted by Amazon and GameFly, Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Core Collection<\/em> will contain\u00a0the first four Five Nights at Freddy’s<\/em> games alongside Five Night’s at Freddy’s: Sister Location<\/em>. The listing on Amazon also revealed that this special edition of the game will include “console exclusive features” that will feature a new achievement and trophy system and optional cheats.<\/p>\n

At the moment, the exact release date of Five Nights at Freddy’s: The Core Collection<\/em> for the Switch is still unknown,\u00a0given that the developers of the franchise still hasn’t officially confirmed iot exists. However, the listings on Amazon and GameFly indicated a release date of January 21, 2021, which could just be a placeholder until the developers\u00a0make an official announcement.\u00a0While waiting for the official confirmation,\u00a0it is worth knowing that the first Five Nights at Freddy’s<\/em> game and Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted<\/em> are available right now<\/a> for Nintendo’s hybrid console.<\/p>\n
