In a now deleted Instagram video, famous rapper Snoop Dogg showed off a Xbox Series X refrigerator.<\/p>\n<p>The rapper turned 49 earlier this week, and it seems as a present, Microsoft sent him a full-sized fridge modeled after the Xbox Series X. The fridge is complete with a light-up <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/microsoft-xbox-series-x-logo\/\">Xbox logo<\/a> in the top left corner and the disk drive, which appears to function like a handle for the fridge. In the video, Snoop Dogg opens the Xbox Series X fridge to reveal it is fully stocked with food, drinks, and a few gifts from Xbox.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/gears-5-update-marcus-fenix-dave-bautista\/\">Gears 5 Update Will Let Players Turn Marcus Fenix Into Dave Bautista<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Xbox logo necklaces and jewelry can be seen scattered around the fridge and the top row of the fridge is occupied by an actual <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/xbox-series-x-hands-on-previews-quiet\/\">Xbox Series X console<\/a> and a large Xbox Series X cake that reads, &#8220;Happy Birthday to the Xbox OG.&#8221; Snoop Dogg has been a loyal Xbox user for most of his famous career and after retiring from music a few years ago, he now spends some time streaming video games and has even appeared in a good amount of notable video games.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Xbox\/status\/1319831123455700992\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The rapper made his video game debut in the 2003 action shooter <em>True Crime: Streets of LA<\/em>. Snoop Dogg has also appeared as himself in <em>Tekken Tag Tournament 2<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff<\/em>, and\u00a0has been involved with well-known FPS games, appearing as an announcer in <em>Call 0f Duty: Ghosts<\/em>, and in a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/ghost-recon-breakpoint-trailer-lil-wayne-snoop-dogg\/\">trailer for <em>Ghost Recon: Breakpoint<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the video, Snoop Dogg says the famous EA &#8220;It&#8217;s in the game&#8221; quote. Snoop Dogg has been involved with or been an announcer for a few EA games including <em>UFC 3<\/em>, <em>Madden 20<\/em>, and <em>NHL 20<\/em>. The retired rapper has quite the resume of games he has been involved with and may even have a growing career as a video game announcer. Snoop Dogg has also been on numerous video game streams like <em>Madden<\/em> and an exclusive <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-snoop-dogg\/\">pre-release stream of <em>Mortal Kombat 11<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrities are an effective way to market the next-gen consoles, especially if they are well known in the video game community. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/travis-scott-playstation-strategic-creative-partner\/\">PlayStation recently hired rapper Travis Scott<\/a> as a Strategic Creative Partner and the rapper has become very famous for his appearance in <em>Fortnite<\/em> and a McDonald&#8217;s meal in his name.
