The apparel and accessories designers at Acronym teamed up with Death Stranding<\/strong>‘s Hideo Kojima and Yoji Shinkawa to modify one of the company’s oldest jackets to resemble one of Sam’s in-game looks. The updated J1A-GT was briefly available for $1,900, but has since sold out.<\/p>\n This partnership came about because Kojima and Acronym co-founder Errolson Hugh are friends. Hugh has a cameo in Death Stranding, and you’ll even spot Acronym-designed products in the game.<\/p>\n The jacket’s product page<\/a> says it’s “Timefall proof”, a reference to the phenomenon in the game’s world. Although it does show the baby jar, it’s not actually part of the package.<\/p>\n In other Death Stranding news, the game recently received a photo mode on PS4<\/a>.
