With tons of characters<\/a> and secret areas<\/a> to be unlocked, and an intricate combat system that provides endless fun, this isn’t a game that can be fully enjoyed in a short time. However, some truly committed players may have already built the teams they want and achieved everything that they feel the game has to offer. So, to any\u00a0Genshin\u00a0<\/em>overachievers, here are\u00a0some titles that will help the comedown and scratch the same itch, whether that itch is for a mobile gacha RPG, or a sprawling open-world console adventure.<\/p>\n

There’s no denying that Nintendo<\/a><\/em> makes high-quality games and Dragalia Lost<\/em> is one of them. The game features a fantastic story and being free-to-play makes it easy for any players to give it a try. And what makes this title singular is the way it handles storytelling. The story is presented in a very\u00a0Souls-like<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>manner, with a lot of inferred lore, backstory, and mythology sprinkled throughout hidden pockets in the world. If players really want to learn the aching history of the game, they have to be diligent in finding hidden hallways tucked at the edge of the screen. It’s not a prerequisite to enjoy the game, but it’s a beautiful example of alternative in-game tale spinning.<\/p>\n

13 <\/span>Fire Emblem: Three Houses<\/h2>\n

Fire Emblem:Three\u00a0<\/em>Houses<\/i><\/a>\u00a0is the most recent addition one of Nintendo’s <\/em>oldest franchises, and a fun advancement<\/a> in the series’ tactical turn-based RPG gameplay. As usual, players will accumulate a party of warriors, cavalry, magic users, archers, and many other units and lead them into a continental conflict.<\/p>\n

Set in the kingdom of F\u00f3dlan, the game sets a monastic teacher against forces of political evil, introducing several new mechanics along the way. \u00a0For the first time in a Fire Emblem\u00a0<\/em>game, players can decide between multiple different paths through the story, and there are many mechanical upgrades (like battalions) along the way. \u00a0It’s a deep strategy and role-playing experience, and a slightly more \u00a0cerebral follow up to the Genshin Impact\u00a0<\/em>experience.<\/p>\n

12 <\/span>Rumble Road<\/h2>\n

One of the best parts of Genshin Impact is how it’s free-to-play and\u00a0convenient to enjoy on mobile devices. So how about a turn-based RPG that can be played for free in a web browser? Created by indie game designer Sean S. LeBlanc for the GBJAM 5,\u00a0Rumble Road<\/a><\/em> is highly stylized to be reminiscent of an old Gameboy<\/em> game. The game is also quite long for being created in such a short period of time so players can really sit back and enjoy it.<\/p>\n

11 <\/span>Another Eden<\/h2>\n

A turn based JRPG made by some of the same people responsible for\u00a0Chrono Trigger<\/em><\/a>, \u00a0Another Eden<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>is another one of the several outstanding mobile games on this list. It is also one of the most story-heavy mobile games ever made. There are hours of main quest to be experienced, multiple timelines with their own unique characters, and even a handful of side missions to be explored.<\/p>\n

The game also features well written characters with their own voice actors, different modes of difficulty, an intricate leveling system, post-game content, and a fluid turn based system that gives the experience a classic JRPG feel.\u00a0Another Eden\u00a0<\/em>may not have reinvented the wheel, but it proves resolutely that the wheel turns just fine on a mobile platform.<\/p>\n

10 <\/span>King’s Raid<\/h2>\n

King’s Raid<\/em> takes the typical gacha trope of having to buy characters and turns it on its head. All the characters in the game are easy to get so players can have their favorite characters on their team with ease. The tough part is getting strong enough equipment to put them to proper use. With the recently added Lil’ Raider update, players will be jumping in just in time to add new line friends<\/a>\u00a0onto their crew.<\/p>\n

9 <\/span>Marvel: Strike Force<\/h2>\n

Marvel: Strike Force<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>is a great game for any superhero fan simply because it features every character under the sun. From Wolverine, Spidey, and Star Lord, to Iron Man, AntMan, and even Luke Cage. Everyone is playable in this game. Set in an in-game MMO called “Cross Worlds,” players take control of Lea, a girl who is in a coma in the real world, and can temporarily only maintain consciousness in this game world. The story is intellectually challenging, mysterious, and the gameplay is immersive and challenging. This title is a great option for any gamer, nonetheless someone coming straight from\u00a0Genshin Impact.<\/em><\/p>\n

The bad art might easily fool gacha fans at first but players that give Public Domains Gacha Game<\/em> a shot will find it’s all part of the game’s charm. But how could it not be, when the influence in question is also one of the greatest achievements in video game \u00a0history.<\/p>\n

What is there to even say about this game that hasn’t already been said? It’s one of the most sprawling and alive open worlds ever, full \u00a0of secrets, enemies, characters, weapons, armors<\/a>, and hours of spellbinding fun. If players haven’t played this \u00a0title before, then they already know they’re missing out. This list is not the first they’re hearing about it.<\/p>\n

This top down action RPG has characters taking control of a shopkeeper named Will. Will lives a normal life tending to his wares by day, then transforms into a vigilante knight\/Batman\/Link by night.<\/p>\n

It’s a charming story of someone daring to dream, and having to live up to their dreams, and the gameplay is classic 2d third person action. It’s a hack, slash, then sell (if that even exists), and it’s a great next step after\u00a0Genshin’s\u00a0<\/em>action packed fun.<\/p>\n

3 <\/span>The Alchemist Code<\/h2>\n

The last mobile RPG to make the list,\u00a0The Alchemist Code\u00a0<\/em>is a tactical, turn based RPG with almost too much going on. Menus are crowded, players are always getting new items and rewards, and there are daily updates and challenges to consider. So yes, it’s loud.<\/p>\n

But it’s also a very well designed combat system with a full story and a lot of incentive to keep coming back to play. And, as with the other titles on this list,\u00a0The Alchemist Code\u00a0<\/em>is a staunch reminder of the capabilities of mobile gaming, and how little respect the \u00a0genre gets (despite examples such as this).<\/p>\n

2 <\/span>Sdorica<\/h2>\n
<\/figure>\n

For players looking for an amazing story, Sdorica<\/em> is a gacha game that will provide it in spades. The game looks simple on the surface but players that dig in will find the combat to be an intricate puzzle to put together. The game also features character art by famed artist NullGhostArt<\/a>\u00a0alongside general art that creates a lovely old-school RPG feel. Developer Rayark<\/em> has previously made rhythm games so don’t forget to jam out to the game’s fantastic soundtrack!<\/p>\n

1 <\/span>The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt<\/h2>\n

Whether players are turned on to this game by the new Netflix Series<\/a>,\u00a0or by scores of older gamers telling tales of Geralt of Rivia, 3rd person action RPGs don’t get much better than\u00a0The Witcher 3<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>Players take control of a Witcher named Geralt, a magical mutant designed to hunt monsters, and get caught up in the world shaping struggles that have come to define fantasy tales such as these.<\/p>\n

It’s an experience full of fun combat, a juicy and enticing world, tons of characters to be schmoozed, millions of conversation trees to be navigated, and more than a few monsters to be slain. For any player looking to sink their teeth into sprawling fantasy RPG, they should \u00a0look no further than Geralt’s third outing.<\/p>\n
