Disney got a lot of things right with The Mandalorian<\/em><\/a>. Despite being shot with a TV budget, the show\u2019s practical effects look exactly like what Star Wars fans<\/em> have come to expect, and the program\u2019s adventure-of-the-week format allows it to explore the galaxy far, far away\u2019s many nooks and crannies without ever becoming exhausting.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, one opportunity Disney didn\u2019t see coming at release was just how popular the show\u2019s Baby Yoda, known officially as \u201cthe Child\u201d (for now<\/a>), character would be. The house of mouse was famously slow to release official merchandise of the character during the first few weeks of the internet\u2019s obsession<\/a> with the little green gremlin, leaving fan products<\/a> to scrap up most of the early revenue.<\/p>\n

Now, however, Disney is striking back with Baby Yoda merchandise of its own, including a soon-to-be-released plush coming to Build-A-Bear workshops later this spring.<\/p>\n
