Moreover, King Digital also released a brand new trailer to promote the game, which is more extensive than the debut preview released in July. The latest footage revealed that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/crash-bandicoot-on-the-run\/\"><em>Crash Bandicoot: On the Run<\/em><\/a> will be a bigger game than what most people expect with more than 100 hours of gameplay across 12 lands. The mobile game will also feature battles against some of the most iconic bosses in <em>Crash Bandicoot&#8217;s<\/em> history.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/games-like-crash-bandicoot-4-its-about-time\/\">10 Games To Play If You Love Crash Bandicoot 4: It&#8217;s About Time<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Based on the trailer, it appears that <em>Crash Bandicoot: On The Run<\/em> will be an endless runner like\u00a0<em>Temple Run<\/em> with some unique <em>Crash Bandicoot<\/em> twists. In the game, players can spin through obstacles and <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/crash-bandicoot-4-how-unlock-secret-bonus-endings\/\">find secret paths that will lead to rewards<\/a> and special challenges. Moreover, players can also pre-register for the upcoming game and those that do will receive a special Blue Hyena Skin for Crash, which\u00a0veteran players would know is a tribute to a similar skin from <em>Crash Team Racing.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/EKcFjfhfloM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Apart from the details revealed above, King Digital still\u00a0hasn&#8217;t revealed other important info about the game such as whether it will have any type of story elements. However, given that the upcoming game is an endless runner title, it is likely that the story will be light and won&#8217;t have any significant impact on the franchise&#8217;s main lore.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also unclear whether players will be able to play as other characters such as Coco Bandicoot or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/crash-bandicoot-dr-neo-cortex-worst-things-ranked\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dr. Neo Cortex<\/a>. If the game does follow its contemporaries, though, new characters might be unlocked as the player progress through the game, or purchased via an in-game store.<\/p>\n<p>The confirmation of <em>Crash Bandicoot: On The Run&#8217;s<\/em> release date is hot on the heels of the release of <em>Crash Bandicoot 4: It&#8217;s About Time<\/em>\u00a0on the PS4 and Xbox One. Similar to the classic trilogy that came before it, <em>Crash Bandicoot 4\u00a0<\/em>features challenging maps and some of the most beloved characters in the franchise.
