However, the expansion pass also\u00a0brought back some older Legendary Pokemon with <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-sword-shield-galarian-articuno-zapdos-moltres-shinies\/\">new Galarian forms<\/a>. Thankfully, trainers can also\u00a0catch nearly every past Legendary\u00a0because of\u00a0Dynamax Adventures.<\/p>\n<p>Dynamax Adventures are an underground challenge where trainers get to fight through 4 Max Raid Battles with the last battle against\u00a0a Legendary Pokemon. Fortunately, trainers still have a 100-percent catch rate after weakening these Pokemon enough. In total, there are 38 legendary Pokemon from the previous 7 generations that\u00a0trainers can encounter after the main story.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-sword-shield-crown-tundra-cosmog-guide\/\">Pokemon Sword and Shield: How to Get Cosmog<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Articuno<\/li>\n<li>Zapdos<\/li>\n<li>Moltres<\/li>\n<li>Mewtwo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Trainers should be aware\u00a0that these are the original forms of the Legendary Birds instead of their Galarian versions.<\/p>\n<p>Only 4 legendary Pokemon from Johto are available depending on the version.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/crown-tundra-suicune-entei-raikou-sword-shield\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Raikou<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Entei<\/li>\n<li>Suicune<\/li>\n<li>Lugia (<em>Shield<\/em> only)<\/li>\n<li>Ho-Oh (<em>Sword<\/em> only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static3.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Raikou-Suicune-and-Entei-Pokemon-Anime.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-sword-and-shield-crown-new-regi-legendaries-regidrago-regieleki\/\">Regis have their own Crown Tundra storyline<\/a>, but the\u00a0Weather Trio and Eon duo Pokemon are\u00a0split between both games.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Groudon (<em>Sword\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Kyogre (<em>Shield\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Rayquaza<\/li>\n<li>Latios (<em>Sword<\/em> only)<\/li>\n<li>Latias (<em>Shield\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With the exception of Dialga and Palkia, Generation 4&#8217;s extensive list of Legendary Pokemon is available to all trainers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dialga (<em>Sword\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Palkia (<em>Shield\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Mesprit<\/li>\n<li>Azelf<\/li>\n<li>Uxie<\/li>\n<li>Heatran<\/li>\n<li>Giratina<\/li>\n<li>Cresselia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static3.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/pokemon-diamond-pearl-remakes-giratina-palkia-dialga.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>While the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-sword-shield-cobalion-terrakion-virizion\/\">Swords of Justice<\/a> are wandering throughout Crown Tundra, the Tao trio and Forces of Nature have been heavily separated\u00a0between both versions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reshiram (<em>Sword\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Zekrom (<em>Shield\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Kyurem<\/li>\n<li>Tornadus (<em>Sword\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Thundurus (<em>Shield\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Because Kalos had very few Legendaries, trainers will only be able to get 2 members of the Aura trio.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Xerneas (<em>Shield\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Yveltal (<em>Sword\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Zygarde<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Trainers can catch all of Alola&#8217;s Guardian dieties, Necrozma, and either one of\u00a0<em>Sun\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Moon&#8217;s\u00a0<\/em>mascots. Note that the Ultrabeasts can also make an appearance in Dynamax Adventures along with the other 38 Legendaries.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solgaleo (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/pokemon-sword\/\">Sword<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Lunala (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/pokemon-shield\/\">Shield<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>only)<\/li>\n<li>Necrozma<\/li>\n<li>Tapu Koko<\/li>\n<li>Tapu Bulu<\/li>\n<li>Tapu Fini<\/li>\n<li>Tapu Lele<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static0.gamerantimages.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/pokemon-tapu-guardians-anime.jpg\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Although some trainers will definitely be disappointed that these Legendary Pokemon don&#8217;t have their own unique scenarios, Game Freak was still able to add every\u00a0Legendary to Crown Tundra using this method without having to further delay the DLC. Furthermore, their implementation this way is healthier for trainers who just want to catch them all or take advantage of the <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/pokemon-sword-shield-dynamax-adventure-shiny-chance\/\">increased shiny rate<\/a>.
