On November 17th, <em>Mortal Kombat 11<\/em> is receiving Kombat Pack 2, which is a DLC pack that will introduce the<a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-trailer-rambo-gameplay\/\"> iconic movie character Rambo<\/a>, and fan-favorite characters Mileena and Rain.<\/p>\n<p>Based on some digging through the game&#8217;s files, it appears that NetherRealm will secretly add a new character to the roster in the next DLC update. Although the studio hasn&#8217;t made any official announcement, a user on Twitter discovered some convincing evidence that supports the rumor of a new mystery character. In a post uploaded by Twitter user Skarlet Golpista, it was revealed that <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/mortal-kombat-11\/\"><em>Mortal Kombat 11<\/em><\/a> on Steam had been updated, and within the game&#8217;s files is a new mystery DLC slot.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-dlc-mileena-end-kombat-pack-3\/\">Mortal Kombat 11&#8217;s Kombat Pack 2 Doesn&#8217;t Bode Well for KP3<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>However, the user pointed out that this could be for an unannounced skin pack, which is less exciting than a new character. But, this does not explain why <em>Mortal Kombat 11&#8217;s<\/em> game files on Steam include four different character slots. Assuming the leak is true, it is difficult to predict which character will be added to <em>Mortal Kombat 11&#8217;s<\/em> roster, given that previous DLC\u00a0fighters came from either previous <em>Mortal Kombat<\/em>\u00a0games\u00a0or <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-kombat-pack-characters\/\">characters from\u00a0other\u00a0games or film franchises.<\/a> Of course, just like with any other leaks that remain unconfirmed, players should take this\u00a0with a fair amount of skepticism.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"320\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PocKaloteira\/status\/1321450817510117376?s=20\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the latest gameplay trailer for the upcoming DLC character Mileena contains <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/mortal-kombat-11-mileena-intro-fans\/\">a creative easter egg referencing fans&#8217; demand<\/a> to see the character added to the game. To those unfamiliar, NetherRealms received some backlash when it launched the game without Mileena.\u00a0In the latest gameplay preview, Mileena is seen having a conversation with Erron Black. After Erron Black asked why Mileena has come back, she responded with, &#8220;A million souls cried for my return,&#8221; which obviously references the many fans who bombarded every post from the game&#8217;s social media pages with demands for Mileena.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Warner Bros. Interactive also released gameplay footage for other Kombat 2 DLC characters Rain and Rambo. In Rambo&#8217;s trailer, the film character shows off many of the stunts seen in his many cinematic adventures, including one with the character sliding a low kick knocking down his opponent, followed by a quick elbow to the face.
