Twitch continues\u00a0its streak of cracking down on streamers who violate their community guidelines, this time dropping the hammer on\u00a0one of\u00a0Counter-Strike: Global Offensive<\/em><\/strong>‘s popular players.\u00a0Unlike the platform’s recent DMCA-inspired content culling, “aggression” earned this\u00a0streamer\u00a0his fourth temporary ban.<\/p>\n

Oleksandr \u2018S1mple\u2019 Kostyliev, arguably one of the best\u00a0CS:GO<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>players in the world, was banned on October 30 for\u00a0saying a Russian slur. The leading player of Natus Vincere’s CS:GO\u00a0<\/em>squad, S1mple has been banned for aggressive behavior and the use of slurs before, as recently as July 30.\u00a0Some fans are concerned that S1mple’s fourth strike-out will put him at risk of incurring a permanent ban.<\/p>\n

Even though S1mple draws impressive viewership numbers, no Twitch celebrity is above the law of the platform’s community guidelines.\u00a0Twitch famously banned the streaming\u00a0mega-star, Dr. Disrespect<\/a>, after controversial violations. That said, S1mple does not seem as bothered by this most recent ban as he was with proceeding incidents, offering an explanation on Twitter.<\/p>\n
