Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/strong><\/em> is set to launch in about two weeks, and will serve as the long-running franchise’s debut on next-generation consoles. This time around, Treyarch is handling the development of\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em><\/a>‘s online multiplayer and Zombies experiences, while Raven Software is taking the lead on the game’s campaign. Now Raven has offered fans a deep-dive into three of the campaign missions that they can look forward to in\u00a0Black Ops Cold War<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The three\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> campaign missions<\/a> in question are Nowhere Left to Run, Fracture Jaw, and Desperate Measures. Nowhere Left to Run is set in a bar on New Year’s Day in 1981, and will supposedly pay homage to the original\u00a0Black Ops<\/em>. The mission will also be used to introduce fans to the new character Russell Adler, culminating with the\u00a0Trabzon Airfield\u00a0<\/strong>sequence that Activision has shown off previously, which gives players the chance to use an RC-XD.<\/p>\n

Fracture Jaw is the second mission in the\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> campaign, and it focuses on a character’s encounter with antagonist Perseus<\/a>. The second mission will change up the setting significantly, taking\u00a0Black Ops Cold War<\/em> players to the jungles of Vietnam.<\/p>\n

The third mission that Raven Software<\/a> detailed is Desperate Measures, and it sounds like it may potentially be one of the most exciting that the campaign has to offer. In the Desperate Measures campaign mission,\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> players actually infiltrate the Soviet Union’s KGB headquarters. While things will undoubtedly end in an action-packed sequence or two, players will have the freedom to explore the building for a bit.<\/p>\n

This is where some of\u00a0the new features in\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em>‘s campaign<\/a> will come into play. Players aren’t simply funneled from one objective to the next, but rather, they will be able to explore the building at their own pace and even interact with the NPCs there. There will also be multiple ways for\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> players to complete their objectives, which should give the game plenty of replay value.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/em> ESRB rating<\/a> has confirmed that all kinds of horrific violence and shocking things will happen during the game’s campaign, and so players should be in for an intense experience. It will be exciting to see how the story plays out come\u00a0Black Ops Cold War<\/em>‘s launch late next week.<\/p>\n

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War<\/strong><\/em> launches on November 13 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.<\/p>\n
