The Dark Pictures: Little Hope\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>is an interactive horror game by the\u00a0same minds that made\u00a0Until Dawn<\/em>. Like previous Supermassive titles<\/a>, players start with a team of characters, and they will live or die based on the choices made in the game. There is a way to save everyone, but it’s going to involve some difficult choices.<\/em><\/p>\n

Most of the choices in The Dark Pictures<\/a><\/em>:\u00a0Little Hope<\/em>\u00a0are extremely important. Players can improve or tarnish relationships with other characters through conversation choices, but each choice will also influence how the game ends. Choices are timed, but players should have enough time to choose the correct one if they keep a couple things in mind.<\/p>\n

In order to get the Salvation ending and save everyone, players have to do three important things. Keep in mind that in this game, choices do matter a lot<\/a>, so make sure to get an idea of what choices to make before they come up.<\/p>\n

These choices are true for the theatrical release, but some things may change with the other, Little Hope<\/em> special bundles<\/a> or extended editions.<\/p>\n

The first choice players have to make to make sure everyone survives is to ensure that Carver is convicted of witchcraft instead of Mary. Since the historical witch trials of 1692 mirror the deaths of the characters in 1972, players need to save the past Mary to ensure the best ending. During Mary’s witch trial, choose the Enraged option, accusing Reverend Carver of witchcraft instead. Then, choose the Insistent option.<\/p>\n

Second, players need to succeed in every improved Little Hope<\/em> quick time event<\/a>. The QTEs decide a character’s fate.<\/p>\n

The third thing players have to do is to choose options that counteract each character’s worst traits. Make sure to choose the nicer options when given a choice, keeping the group bolstered and safe. There are plenty of conversational choices that can influence the ending, but the most important choices are these:<\/p>\n
