In less than 10 days from now, Microsoft will release the Xbox Series X<\/a>|S, marking the beginning of a new generation for Xbox players. For the past several days, the Xbox Series X has been sent out to the press, streamers, and online influencers. Most of those who already have the next-gen console are trying out Xbox One games to see\u00a0just how fast they play on the Xbox Series X. As expected, videos of various\u00a0Xbox One games that are running much faster on the Series X have since appeared online, including one featuring CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

A video posted by YouTuber rubhen925 showed just how fast The Witcher 3<\/em><\/a> runs on the Xbox Series X. Of course, this is not at all surprising given the beefier internals of the new console. Still, it appears that the difference between the old and the new Xbox console is bigger than what most people think. A GIF posted on Twitter of the video showed what happens when players fast travel in The Witcher 3.<\/em><\/p>\n

Normally, once players select a travel point, the game shows a loading screen. But the\u00a0Xbox Series X loads the game so fast<\/a> that the loading screen doesn’t even show up, and it immediately loads the environment almost like a glitch.<\/p>\n
