McFarlane Toys\u2019 connections in the video game industry go pretty deep, as the toy manufacturer currently carries products for franchises like Borderlands<\/em>, Call of Duty<\/em>, Cuphead<\/em>, Doom<\/em>, Fortnite<\/em> and Mortal Kombat<\/em>, as well as the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077<\/em><\/a>. Well, as if that weren\u2019t enough, their ties to CD Projekt Red will now see them release action figures featuring The Witcher<\/em><\/strong> too, all of the witchers for that matter.<\/p>\n

Back in August, the company announced they would be releasing a Geralt of Rivia action figure, based on the character\u2019s appearance in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt<\/em>, as part of their 2020 fall lineup. The rampant success of the Netflix show, which is based on\u00a0Andrzej Sapkowski’s books, rather than the game, has inspired them to expand on that with a new set of Witcher<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>merchandise.<\/p>\n

The news of a future white-haired Henry Cavill action figure was dropped via McFarlane Toys\u2019 Instagram<\/a> account, but unfortunately there aren\u2019t any images yet available to compare the model’s likeness to the show’s cast of actors or\u00a0even any details on which characters will be featured.<\/p>\n

The post does feature the wolf and swallow medallion used in most of Netflix\u2019s promo material for The Witcher<\/em>, marking them as a 2021 release, though it\u2019s unclear if that could coincide with the series\u2019 season 2 premiere.<\/p>\n

Recently, McFarlane Toys also released a set of\u00a0figurines based on some of the characters from Warner Bros\u2019 delayed Dune<\/em> film, which were probably planned to go along with the movie. That fate hopefully stays far from The Witcher\u2019s<\/em> production team, as filming continues to go on smoothly and they share constant updates on the show\u2019s development, mainly focused on new looks for its protagonists, as well a some of the series’ other lovable creatures<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Netflix aptly shared a monster mash video for Halloween<\/a> showing some of the monsters seen in The Witcher<\/em> already, though those won\u2019t be making it as action figures any time soon. Instead, expect a handsome trio of Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer. Maybe Jaskier if McFarlane is feeling generous.<\/p>\n
