Red Dead Online<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s latest update rewards players with free items for completing certain tasks. Luckily for fans, the tasks are as simple as logging on before November 9 and playing the game as they normally would.<\/p>\n

Rockstar has released updates for Red Dead Online<\/em> throughout 2020, though a lack of meaningful new content earlier this year caused some fans to become frustrated. The developer responded by releasing July\u2019s Naturalist update and October\u2019s Halloween event<\/a>, both\u00a0to initially mixed reaction. The game\u2019s userbase still pales in comparison to GTA Online,<\/em> leading Rockstar to switch up their strategy when it comes to releasing new content. Whereas GTA<\/em>\u2019s updates tend to be designed to draw in new users, Red Dead<\/em>\u2019s are more focused on keeping dedicated fans playing.<\/p>\n

This strategy continues in the game\u2019s latest update, which rewards\u00a0Traders 25 Trader Goods and Moonshiners one Mash refill for simply logging on before November 9. Completing a Trader or Moonshiner mission<\/a> before that date will also net players a free treasure map. Players who reach Rank 5 or higher in any given role before November 9 will also get a free horse, but the steed is limited to Rank 40 or lower.<\/p>\n
