That title is <em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em>, which follows the little robotic characters first introduced in <em>The Playroom <\/em>on PS4.<\/p>\n<p><em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em> is a shorter experience that mainly acts as a showcase for the enhanced hardware of the PS5 and the DualSense controller. Now, the official PlayStation YouTube channel has released a brand new PS5 gameplay trailer for <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/tag\/astros-playroom\/\"><em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"related-single\"><strong>RELATED<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/astros-playroom-length-worlds-levels\/\"><strong>PS5 Exclusive Astro&#8217;s Playroom Worlds and Playtime Confirmed<\/strong><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s very likely that <em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em> is going to be the very first title that many players who purchased the PS5 at launch dive into. Considering it\u2019s a <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/astros-playroom-ps5-free-game\/\">free, pre-loaded PS5 game at launch<\/a> <em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em> is an extremely enticing premise. While many players are most likely going to pick up or download some\u00a0additional\u00a0launch titles on the PS5, <em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em> will be fully downloaded and ready to go while players wait on their other titles to download. To entice players further, the new <em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em> trailer does an excellent job at showcasing the wider appeal of this pack-in title.<\/p>\n<p><em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em> is another platformer title featuring the Astro Bot characters that PlayStation has adopted in recent console generations. Players control an Astro Bot through a variety of different levels and environments using different powers and abilities. The new trailer showcases what players can expect from <em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em> in terms of gameplay, along with a glimpses of a variety of different levels throughout the game. <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/astros-playroom-review-ps5\/\">Early reviews for <em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em><\/a> rate the game pretty highly, praising its DualSense controller integration and availability despite it\u2019s short length.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"480\" height=\"270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/33zqCAJ-qrE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em> is an interesting pack-in title because it seems like a game that would appeal to different players for different reasons. It may appeal to the hardcore PS5 player base as a high-quality showcase of what the DualSense controller is really capable of. Apparently, <a href=\"https:\/\/gamerant.com\/astros-playroom-ps5-dualsense\/\"><em>Astro&#8217;s Playroom<\/em> helped design PS5\u2019s DualSense controller<\/a> and its enhanced features are used to great effect throughout the game. On the other hand, more casual players might be drawn to <em>Astro\u2019s Playroom<\/em> simply for its inherent accessibility, in terms of both price and gameplay.<\/p>\n<p>Though some players may be turned off by the game\u2019s overall length, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegamer.com\/astros-playroom-5-hours-long-ps5-one-sitting\/\"  rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Astro&#8217;s Playroom<\/em> is reportedly just 4-5 hours long<\/a>,\u00a0the short run-time may also be one of the game\u2019s strongest assets. A free, bite-sized experience that players can run through in one sitting to get familiar with their brand new hardware seems like just the right appetizer before bigger titles like <em>Demon\u2019s Souls<\/em>.
